The units incorporate a clear LCD display with a precise read-out of temperature.
Low battery and open circuit indication are also displayed, when applicable.
Both Thermamites are powered by a 9 volt PP3 battery with a minimum life expectancy of up to 500 hours. Each Thermamite is supplied with a permanently attached rigid pointed, stainless steel food penetration probe (Ø3.3 x 108mm) and 500mm connecting lead, battery and instruction card.
The Thermamite thermometers are also available in a variety of colour-coded cases: blue, white, yellow, green, red, brown and black.
